Right to Manage?
 Retired leaseholders can now take
power into their own hands.
The 2002 Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act gives leaseholders
in blocks of flats the right to change to a new managing agent of
their choice. This new power is called the "Right to Manage",
and is implemented through the formation of a leaseholder-controlled
Right To Manage Company.
RLHA's Chief Executive Ben Young
commented, "For too long many leaseholders have been exploited by
freeholders or managing agents who care little, and deliver even
less. Right To Manage is about leaseholders taking power into
their own hands, and for the first time collectively controlling
their own destiny".
RLHA have produced an information
pack about Right To Manage, and how we may be able to help
leaseholders. If you would like an information pack call Ben
Young on 01252 356 005. |
