Crystal Care to close

RLHA Group's Board has taken the decision to close its domiciliary care subsidiary, Crystal Care Services, for business reasons.  The Horsham office closed on 4 July 2008, and the Lewes office closed on 25 August 2008.

RLHA Group Chief Executive, Ben Young, explained: "This was a difficult decision for us to take, and we deeply regret the disruption for our service users and for those staff who can no longer remain with us.  Since 1994 Crystal Care has won a reputation as a leading not for profit care provider, however we could no longer afford to sustain repeated financial losses.

Ben concluded: "Sad though this closure is, it will free up our dedicated staff team to concentrate on building our highly successful business, providing high quality and good value services to leaseholders through the south of England."
