Residents’ Associations Forum

Jennifer Jayasundera

In 1992 RLHA was one of the first leasehold associations to establish a meaningful channel for dialogue with leaseholders, when we set up our Residents’ Associations Forum.

Over the years the Forum has played an important role in highlighting areas of concern to leaseholders, and working in positive partnership with staff to drive up service standards.

The Forum meets annually in May for a day conference with staff and Board members.

The Forum also has an important role to elect a leaseholder representative to RLHA’s Board to ensure that the voice of leaseholders is heard loud and clear at the highest level.

The current leaseholder Board member is Mrs Jennifer Jayasundera (see picture on the right) from Garden Mews in Warsash; you can write to her c/o 43 Garden Mews, Newtown Road, Warsash, SO31 9GW – she would be pleased to hear from any leaseholder.

If your estate doesn’t currently have a residents’ association, why not consider setting one up yourself? Any RLHA staff member can let you have information on the process by which RLHA recognises new residents’ associations.
